Monday - Jan. 26th

Today is most of the friends day off so if you want to go out in the ministry you have to make your own plans so that’s what we did. We worked the town of Paquita, just outside of Quepos. Went to the beach in the afternoon. Pretty decent sized waves today, but still not big enough for surfing. Oh well, they’ll eventually come. We went to the internet place were we get the gelato and made some phone calls with the computer. Amanda was able to connect to her mom and sister via Yahoo messenger and we both hooked up a video cam so that we could talk AND see each other…..wow, her mom Lisa was soooooooooo excited to see her daughter. She was practically screaming with excitement. It will be a sad day when Lisa finds out that Amanda isn’t coming home, that she’s decided that she’s going to live here permanently…….ok, ok…..I’m just joking Lisa. She’s coming home. That was a bad joke.
