Sun. Jan. 25th

Today we slept in, got up and studied our Watchtowers and off to the meeting at 2pm. Brandon did a fantastic job, his first full length talk. I had the privilege of conducting the Watchtower afterwards. It was the Vermont show today. We had a total of 25 in attendance. There was a new family their from Portland, Oregan - Bruce, his wife Cristina and their daughter Fiona. They are looking at Quepos or Tamarindo (the next English cong. about 3 hrs north of here) to permanently move to. We have the circuit overseer this week so it will be an exciting week for us. Chow! (Costa Rican's don't say Adios, instead it's "chow")

  4. sloths are cute AND ugly. tidbits: "Famously slow-moving, the sloth travels at a top speed of 0.15 mph", "have a complex, multi-chambered stomach to ferment tough vegetable matter", "Adults are solitary, and mark their territories using anal scent glands and dung middens" (dung middens?)
