Friday we woke up to no more internet at the house…..sad day. The four of us went out in service. We had 4 car groups drive down to Dominical for a full day. We had a great time. We worked high up in the mountains just north of town. After service we drove a little farther south to Uvita. Alex had a return visit down close to the kingdom hall. The kingdom hall is a little room built on the side of a storage building. It was pretty primitive compared the other kingdom halls around here. Outside there were about 4 little huts. In one of them is were a temporary special pioneer was staying. It was about the size of a small storage shed, with a mattress on the floor and a sink. The bathrooms were outside by the entrance to the kingdom hall. Now that is living simple! We got home at around 6pm. At 7pm there was a going away get together in the front of our house. About 25 of the friends came. Even Mark and Laurie came by after their dinner. We all played games and ate and had a great time. Afterwards we played cards with our neighbors, Dan and Evett, while their little boy Jayden played in the living room.
