For breakfast we drove back over to the B&B and are welcomed by Mrs. Owens. After bringing us fresh orange juice and coffee, we are asked what we would like for breakfast and how much: Eggs, pancakes, bacon, gallo pinto, fresh fruit (watermelon, papaya, cantelope & pineapple)! One of the best breakfasts we’ve had since we’ve been here! Next it was off to the assembly hall. The program was the same one we’ve already had in the states, but we still enjoyed it very much. Bro. Teasdale, from the Costa Rican branch was the guest speaker. Being that the majority of the friends here are either permanent or temporary need-greaters, the program really focused on the work we are doing in Costa Rica. Throughout the program, the brothers expressed their appreciation for everyone that had come to Costa Rica to help out in the English field. Bro. Teasdale highlighted the tremendous growth in English and stressed that there was much more work to be done. We had a total attendance of 488. Margo, Kim's study, rode up with Kim and Ken. Kim said she was full of questions and has aleady made arrangements for studying with the witnesses back in New Jersey when she returns! I'll keep you posted as to her progress.
After the assembly we headed back to our rental in Grecia for a nice relaxing night.
